Last night there was a fire in our neighbourhood. We are safe and according to public news, none were injured. I drove past several times while the flames soared high, bringing and picking up kids from activities. Today I stopped to have a look as it appeared safe to do so.
We live in a house similar to those who burned down. Makes you think. Lots of questions, no answers yet. Speculating from the pictures, the fire started in the kitchen downstairs in the middle of the five homes. The houses are from the early seventies. Nobody will be living there for a long while now.
