Spring Beast is a graffiti festival in Snösätra south of Stockholm. Since 2014 this abandoned industrial area has attracted graffiti artists from near and far. Together they create and recreate a great outdoor art exhibition.
Part of the area is open for all to try their hand with a spray can, part of the walls are reserved for selected artists who renew the art at the yearly festival.
On a sunny and beautiful afternoon after school I took my daughter for a tour of the area. While we did put our mark on a wall there, we have a little practice to do before we can compete with the artwork below. Enjoy the explosion of colours and forms.
