Description
From the cultural heart of modern Stockholm to the birthplace of Stockholm, this city walk will take you on a journey back in time.
You will hear about Carl XII when we meet him on our way, still pointing at his arch enemy. You will see the cannon ball that Gustaf Vasa fired at the Danes after the Stockholm Bloodbath. Pass through the narrow streets of Old Town to the newly renovated lock that will guard the fresh water of Mälaren for a century. We will end the tour in a scenic and calm space overlooking Mälaren where it all began.
Sergel’s Square, Royal Garden, Old Town.

Very informative, very charming. Heartily recommended.

I would recommend this tour for anyone interested in the history of Sweden as it can be seen in Stockholm today.
Both the tour and the stories told are a good mixture of classic highlights and more personal asides.
Frederik is a knowledgeable and good spirited story teller, dedicated to show you both a good time and a new way of looking at Stockholm.
