I will be at The Happening 2026 in Norrköping next week. The Happening is a roleplaying event hosted by Ron Edwards in Spelens Hus in Norrköping, this year is the third incarnation. The event is drop in, open every day from August 29 through September 6 from 10 AM to 6 PM. Donations accepted but essentially free. Games and activities are scheduled ad hoc, show up and run a game or jump into a game hosted by another participant.
Ron Edwards is an American Indie Game Designer, known from his 1998 game Sorcerer and for the website The Forge which he helped create and moderate for years and which was a powerful driver for game designers to get help designing and publishing their games on their own in the early days of print-on-demand and small print runs. Since many years Ron has lived in Sweden.
I will be in Norrköping from Sunday August 30 to Tuesday September 1. I will bring three games: Clemency, The City and Death of Rapacus. Clemency and Death of Rapacus are both GM-less and designed to be played from the text; I will leave copies around for people to pick up and play. The City requires a game master; I will host a session Sunday afternoon.
