Draw, stranger!

Two gunslingers duel it out in the Old West.

Who shoots first? Who hits? Who brought a knife to a gunfight?

2 players. 5 minutes.

Rules

Overview

You win if you hit your opponent before your opponent hits you! You lose if you play a bullet or bring a knife to a gunfight!

Setup

Shuffle and deal three cards to each player. Place three cards face down on the table between you. These form the duel piles. Place the remaining cards in a draw pile within reach of both players.

Buildup

Draw one card each. Choose one card to play and place face down in front of you. The card will have the effect stated in the top half of the card.

Reveal and resolve. The card with the lowest number goes first.

Shootout

When the draw pile runs out or when one player plays a gun, the shootout starts.

Both players lay down their three cards on the table in front of them face down in the order they want to play them. Cards now have the effect stated in the bottom half of the card.

Reveal and resolve cards. Lowest number goes first.

If a player reveals a gun, they shoot. Flip over one or more cards from duel piles. Players score a hit for each card that comes up with a hit. If one player scores a hit, they win!

Draw

If no players scores a hit, both players keep one card and play again!
