Sign up for LinCon 2026 is open

LinCon is a yearly game convention in May in Linköping 2 hours south of Stockholm. About 2000 visitors each year drop by to play games with new and old friends and to enjoy spring. I’m going again this year with my family. It’s the Ascension weekend, 14-17 May 2026.

I’m offering three events for the schedule and registration opened this week.

Death of Rapacus Claudia Cangini

Death of Rapacus

Who is left standing when the purple smoke clears? Death of Rapacus is my dark comedy love letter to Ars Magica. You play rivaling wizards in a magical convent that have just discovered that the only thing holding them together — their feared and brutal leader — is dead — murdered!

Five groups had fun accusing each other and sorting out disagreements through magic duels last year. It’s a GM less game where you take turns setting scenes as instructed by the text. Scores of dice determine duels.

Play Death of Rapacus Thursday 16:00 — 20:00. Three groups or up to 18 players can play.

Mars to stay Leaving Mars

Mars to Stay

Would you give up life on Earth to live the rest of your life on Mars to build humanity’s first colony? Recent events may have made that prospect more tempting, at least if you ignore the harsh environment and the extreme conditions you will face on Mars. I’s a long way to the grocery shop when you run out of toothpaste.

Play Mars to Stay and find out. It’s a GM less game that you play from the text. The text instructs you on setting scenes, when to roll dice and how to resolve the story. Will you succeed in your mission and how will it change who you are?

Mars to Stay is on Friday 16:00 — 20:00 and I bring enough copies for two groups to play.

Gotlandia cover web resolution

Gotlandia

Are you the greatest Gute on Gotland? Play Gotlandia to find out!

In Gotlandia players take on the role of families on medieval Gotland, settling across the island, selling sheep, fighting pirates, burying silver and building magnificent churches. Play your hand of action cards each generation to grow workers, meet trading partners and learn new crafts to boost your engine. All to be ready for the final century where war and plague will punch your puny little empire in the face.

Gotlandia plays Saturday 12:00 - 16:00. Two tables of 2-4 players can play.
